Welcome to Living Ayurveda, where ancient wisdom meets modern day living!

Ayurveda may be an ancient science but it is more relevant than ever in our current times. I see so many who, with our modern way of living, experience overwhelm and exhaustion, disconnection from self and spirit and, eventually hormonal imbalance and disease. For women, this affects all aspects of her health and wellbeing - from poor digestion, to hot flushes, anxiety and insomnia. Ayurveda has many simple practices to help regain perspective in our busy lives and create better health and hormonal balance for every day!

The power of Ayurveda is in learning how to bring its wisdom into each day. This wisdom cultivates awareness for healthy habits to flourish and grow to create lasting health.

My aim is to support you in finding the balance and health you want in your life.  Ayurveda can bring you back to yourself!

“Ancient Ayurveda, with its understanding of life and consciousness, is not archaic or obsolete but a key to the medicine of the future.” Dr. David Frawley.

Feminine Vitality Ayurveda and Yoga Retreat for Women 24th - 27th September, 2020

"I attended Jacq's Autumn Retreat and had no idea of what Ayurveda was! After 4 days of gentle yoga, meditation, relaxation and very informative sessions I feel lighter and clearer about my path to a more loving and healthier life! Jacq is a beautiful teacher, so kind and knowledgeable. I can highly recommend this retreat to you! And the food was unbelievable! Chrissie.

"My first Living Ayurveda Retreat last October was so beneficial and enjoyable I had no hesitation in booking a place in the Autumn one. Again it has proved to be an invaluable four days filled with just the right mix of Yoga, Pranayama, Ayurvedic knowledge, wonderful company and such good food! My goal now is to attend one of Jacq's retreats at least once a year to keep myself on track and give myself this precious time out for personal nourishment and reflection."  Julienne

What Our Clients Are Saying

  • I just wanted to tell you I haven’t had any hot flushes during the day for the last 3 and a bit weeks! Thank you for all your advice – it has been very helpful, easy and pleasurable to do. I’ve been doing the alternate nostril breathing every day, usually twice a day, for maybe 15 minutes and I love it. I know I am sleeping better has this has made me feel generally better. Amazing how you just don’t realize how tired you are sometimes until you feel great after a full night’s sleep.

  • I’ve had the pleasure of working privately with Jacqueline for the past few months now, and really love her open hearted & passionate approach to Ayurveda as a holistic system to health & wellbeing. Her professionalism & in depth knowledge combined with a quirky sense of humour have given me confidence & greater understanding of some of the health & lifestyle challenges that I have been facing.

    Gill
  • I have had two appointments with Jacqueline which I found to be a most positive, enlightening and reassuring experience and I am now much better than before I began seeing her. I have seen for myself how Ayurvedic medicine can have such a positive effect on human health and in this case mine. I thoroughly recommend her.

    Jane
  • I’ve been going to Jacqueline for a few months now, and every time I go I feel better and better. She really listens to understand your situation, then, applies her knowledge to suit your needs, while devising techniques for you to take home and apply yourself. I had problems with digestion and other symptoms, which I now believe were all related. After Jacqueline listened to my story she pointed out things that might be causing me anguish. She was right, because now I’m truly on the mend after years of explaining my situation to other professionals. Thanks, Jacqueline.

  • I really enjoyed the relaxed & friendly manner in which you presented the Ayurvedic principles, some of which I was familiar with, however you always learn something new! Your approach & easy to apply to modern life examples increased the clarity of the Ayurvedic approach for me. Your presentation was clear and informative with easy to apply practices. Look forward to learning more!

  • I wanted to let you know how grateful I feel for your passing on the wisdom of Ayurveda to us. I've been tongue scraping, oiling and doing some breathing practice every morning and have come to the end of the oil bottle! I've been feeling stronger, and sleeping better than I have for the past 5 years. This is really amazing for me and quite empowering. Thank you Jacqueline. What I learnt at your workshop is the best health/lifestyle advice I have received since my ongoing struggles with energy, emotions and digestion set in 5yrs ago. It has become my anchor and relief.

    Sherilee
  • I found the workshop deepened my understanding of Ayurveda with practical knowledge and wisdom. Jacqueline had me engaged the whole time with her warm, nurturing and passionate teaching. I walked away feeling grounded, energized and inspired. Thank you Jacqueline!.

    Melissa
  • Thank you so much for a wonderful and informative afternoon. Over the years I have tried to establish an early morning routine for my yoga and pranayama practice but after a time it falls away and I’m left fitting in practice at all hours of the day. This is of course not ideal. For the past few days I’ve been taking advantage of the slightly slower school holiday mornings to start my day with Dincharya and it has been delightful. I feel renewed optimism about the possibility of maintaining a morning routine

  • Dear Jacqueline, thank you for your wonderful hormonal balance for menopause workshop. It was an amazing experience, with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. You gave such easy to understand information. Reminders to connect, be mindful and lovingly aware to take time to be gentle and happy with ourselves. Thank you for sharing your recipes with us. Your knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine and lifestyle has inspired me to practice every day for a healthier and happier way of living. You glow on the inside & outside, and are a great inspiration for as all. Thank you very much. Namaste.

    Viviana
  • Having read a number of books and attended some workshops on Ayurveda I felt as if I was only scratching the surface without any real in depth “knowing’ of the subject. My first workshop with Jacqueline was a real “a-ha” moment – she found the right button to press and all those bits and pieces fell into place. Her understanding of Ayurveda coupled with a down to earth delivery and sharing of information make for a lively and informative few hours in her company! I’m really looking forward to the next workshop!

  • Within a few weeks of my initial consult with Jacqueline I moved from being an emotional, physical and mental exhausted wreck to genuinely beginning to reconnect with joy again, and therefore life. Jacqueline offered me small, practical, simple steps that I was able to cope with and easily implement. It was utterly incredible and I am in awe of how quickly and gracefully Jacqueline guided me from living in a disconnected state of hell to actually being able to sleep, think clearly, process information, laugh, have fun and make sense of life again. I am so grateful.

  • Jacqueline is a rare gift of a practitioner. She has utmost intelligence, warmth, passion and humour. I find her to be genuinely interested in my overall health and well being and from her I've gained invaluable insight into my body type, nutritional needs and controlling the roller-coaster of menopause. My chronic insomnia (bane of my life!) has melted away and my overall sense of well being is wonderful. I am so grateful to have access to such a qualified and competent Ayurvedic practitioner in Adelaide. It's a delight to be in her nurturing hands!

What is Ayurveda

ayus = life          veda = knowledge

Ayurveda is the Indian living tradition of health and wellbeing.  Often called the ‘Science of Life’ Ayurveda is a comprehensive system which covers anatomy, physiology, pathology, diagnostic systems and treatment strategies.

Over 5000 years old, this ancient science is still relevant today to help find and maintain the balance in life that is required to become truly healthy. Ayurveda counsels that true health is not only physical, but is a state of wellness of the mind, body and spirit.

\n

I hope that you enjoyed my last blog about how I found and fell in love with Ayurveda. I received many emails thanking me for sharing my story and wanting\n to know more about my Menopause journey.\n
\n
So I have written chapter 2 in the hope that if my story sounds familiar then you can know that it is possible to transform your menopause and have deeper sleep, more energy, a clear mind, less aches and pains and good digestion! You can and deserve to have a joyful and enriching menopause!\n

\n

Chapter 2 - How Menopause Changed My Life For The Better!

\n

After practicing Ayurveda for seven years in the late 90’s and early 2000’s I took time off to start my family and be a full time mum. Ah the challenges\n and the joys of parenting!\n
\n
After seven years I felt the call to restart my Ayurvedic practice. I was excited to connect with my community again in a professional way and share\n what family life had taught me.

\n

I was keen to get cracking!

\n

Sure, I could re-establish my business and catch up with the huge technological advancements that had happened in those seven years, AND keep up with my\n kids needs and commitments and a partner who was, unbeknownst to us at the time, suffering depression. (I'm happy to say that he is also much better\n now!)

\n

Time for me? I didn’t need that! I was doing what I loved. It was a joy to be offering my services to my clients again. That was my time… right?\n
\n
After all, I was a strong, independent woman who was accustomed to having a full and busy life.

\n

But…overwhelm and depletion crept up on me.

\n

You see, it generally doesn't hit all at once. It is sneaky and our body's self-protection mechanisms kick in and draw on our deeper reserves of energy\n to help us cope.

\n

And I was coping… Yes I was coping just fine, thanks! In fact, it was a buzz being so busy! Until, my wellspring of energy and vitality dried up\n and I wasn’t coping anymore.\n
\n
I had chronic insomnia. It took me hours to get to sleep and I would often wake in the night with hot flushes.

\n

I had become anxious and started putting on extra weight. My digestion was a mess. I was often so bloated I couldn’t breathe deeply, which perpetuated the\n anxiety.\n
\n
My menstrual cycle was suddenly erratic. I would skip months at a time. The build-up came with hot flushes and such irritability I felt like a volcano.\n My poor family! Everything felt like a struggle. Where had my joy for life gone?

\n

Libido? Let’s just say there was none, zero, zilch.

\n

I started having intense headaches often connected to my cycle. My skin had become overly sensitive.\n
\n
And the hot flushes...did I mention them! Holy moly!\n
\n
I was in overdrive and overwhelm. I was depleted and worn out. I was seriously out of whack!

\n

But menopause? It was not even on my mind! I was 41…menopause was a distant thing. My friends weren’t talking about it. It simply was not a part\n of my reality.

\n

Finally, while driving one day to meet a friend, I had a panic attack.\n
\n
I was rushing, although I didn't need to. It had just become my default mode of being. Sound familiar?

\n

It took this panic attack, the sweaty palms, shortness of breath, racing heart, for me to FINALLY REALISE how far I had strayed from myself,\n my centre, my heart, my joy, my balance and good health.\n
\n
It was time to stop.

\n

\n
\n
It was time to listen to the cries of my body and come back to the knowledge and practices that Ayurveda had given me, but I had forgotten to live.

\n

I learned the hard way that knowledge is not enough. It is how we live, the little things we do each day that will, over time, build us up or wear us down.\n

\n

It is how we live leading up to menopause that will, in a large part, determine our experience.

\n

I was lucky enough to know how to start on my path of self-healing.

\n

Before my final days of Menopause in 2016 I brought regularity and balance back into my cycles and my life. With what I now call my Sacred Self Care\n Practices my sleep, digestion, headaches and energy all improved and my joy for life was back!

\n

The practice of Self-massage was a life saver for me. It became a keystone habit that to this day keeps me nourished and grounded. I also took specific\n organic herbs to support my journey to better health.

\n

Looking back it truly felt like a transformation from a burnt out shell to a Spring tree blossoming with new life!

\n

I was very thankful to discovered Dr. Claudia Welch at this time. This wonderful warmhearted, internationally renowned Ayurvedic and Chinese Medicine\n Doctor was in Adelaide in 2014 sharing her knowledge and her book \"Balance your Hormones; Balance your Life\" (Ladies...get your hands on this book!)

\n

We spoke the same Ayurvedic language the crux of which is that true health is called Swasthya – the harmony and right functioning of body, mind, emotions,\n spirit and living in right relationship with nature and our environment.

\n

Dr Claudia became my mentor on Women's Health, Ayurveda and life. I spent three years doing her mentorship courses which deepened my knowledge on Hormonal\n Imbalances and Women’s Health. It was a very enriching time.

\n

I knew in Ayurvedic terms that I was experiencing excessively high Vata (Air energy) and depletion but Dr Claudia gave me the language to describe\n my symptoms hormonally - adrenal fatigue, chronically high levels of cortisol, very low progesterone and low estrogen.

\n

I learned that replacing these hormones via herbs or hormone replacement therapy without addressing the deeper causes of my high cortisol, stress levels\n and my dissatisfaction with how I was living was simply a band-aid approach: like filling a leaky bucket without plugging up the hole.

\n

(Please note I do not condone HRT as a stop gap measure to bring balance to an intolerable situation. It can be just what a woman needs to bring her\n sanity and energy back enough to address the deeper causes : ) ).

\n

Dr. Claudia taught me that “our hormonal balance is a reflection of how we have been living and the level of satisfaction we have with the choices\n that we have made in our life\".\n
\n
When I first heard this it stopped me in my tracks.

\n

Yes, I had been struggling against the reality of my life with two kids and a business and yes I had been living as a super woman trying to ‘make\n it all happen’.

\n

In hindsight I can see how I had fallen into the too common trap of putting others needs before my own. I was giving too much of myself without\n filling my own cup.

\n

I was in full steam masculine doing mode.

\n

I had forgotten how to rest.

\n

I had forgotten how to receive both from others and from myself.

\n

Ayurveda brought me a very long way on my journey back to health. Then, more recently, Prasanna Diana Manuella of Elemental Woman gave me the gift\n of remembering how to reconnect with my feminine essence and vitality to bring even more joy and energy back into my life!

\n

I relearned how to receive and how to be kind to myself. I let go of giving myself a hard time and thinking, “with all I had learned in my studies\n and life, how did I get so depleted?”

\n

I made the initially tricky effort to STOP and ALLOW myself to have a nap on the couch and honour the need for down time.

\n

I stopped listening to those voices in my head that called me lazy or slack. Do you hear those voices too?\n
\n
I retrained myself to do one thing at a time and stop multi-tasking and scattering my energy!

\n

I set some solid boundaries with others.

\n

I came back to my heart, my truth.

\n

I came back home to me.

\n

We live in a society that largely honours the masculine way of constant growth and achievement, which glorifies youth and disparages aging.

\n

For too long Menopause has been labelled as the gateway to old age and to losing one’s allure or worth. For too long has medical culture viewed\n Menopause as a problem rather than a natural event. Enough!

\n

Menopause is the greatest transition in an adult woman’s life. It is a time when our inner voice speaks more clearly.

\n

Author of many books on Women’s Health, Dr Christiane Northrup describes how hormone changes during peri-menopause actually change the brain and\n make women more intuitive. The changing levels of progesterone verses estrogen effects the temporal lobe, the site of intuition.

\n

This is why menopause is the time to recognise long buried needs and make the changes to create the life you want to be living.

\n

I know it takes courage to make these changes; to put yourself first without feeling guilty; to integrate your shadows and embrace all of who you\n are.

\n

I know it takes loving mindfulness to slow down and stay connected with your inner wisdom as you navigate modern living. But it is there that you’ll\n receive the guidance and support that will create more ease in your life.

\n

It takes time to really change the deeply ingrained patterns of overdoing. I still need to gently remind myself to not get pulled into the fast\n stream but to listen to my body, trust and say yes to that which lights me up and brings me joy.

\n

It is time to change the dialogue around Menopause. As more women share their stories we can rewrite the current vilification of Menopause and\n gift our daughters, nieces and younger women friends with a truer version of what menopause can be for them.

\n

I also believe that it is important to allow time to say goodbye to the previous stage of our lives. Time to find acceptance and allow the grief\n that can come for the loss of our cycles. I felt sad in the beginning when my cycles had stopped. I missed the cyclic nature of menstruating.\n I missed the innate connection to my womb space. And I felt sad knowing that I wouldn't ever have the experience of synching my cycle with\n my daughters when she starts her menstruating.

\n

I now know that I still have cycles, linked to the moon and nature. They are just not as obvious! I still connect to my womb space through meditation\n and visualisation and gain so much grounding, peace and energy from connecting within.

\n

I am so grateful for my Menopause. It transformed my life for the better!

\n

I am also so very grateful for the wise women who have supported my journey to deeper health and balance. When women share knowledge and support\n each other magic happens!

\n

I am now happier, stronger, healthier and more at peace than ever before. There is less striving, less pushing and more being in the flow of my\n own life. I choose to age with ease, joy and good health!

\n

If you’ve made it to the end of this longer than expected story…thank you for reading! I hope that my story can spark in you the vision of Menopause as the gift that it truly is.

\n

I would love to hear your comments and thoughts. How is, or was your menopause? Are you on the other side but still experiencing uncomfortable\n symptoms? Or do you have concerns about approaching Menopause? I would love to hear from you!

\n

If you would like my help to transform your menopause or even to prepare yourself for it by creating more balance in your life now, if would be\n my honour to support you.

\n

Feel free to share my story with any woman you know it would benefit.

\n

With love,

\n

Jacq

\n \n \n \n \n \n
\n \n \n \n \n \n \n
Today, I thought I would take you on a little trip down memory lane…🦋\n
\n
People often ask me how I came to be an Ayurvedic practitioner. Especially when it was relatively unknown and new in Australia 20 plus years ago and most people couldn't even pronounce the word! (Don't worry if you can't too. You are not alone!)\n
\n
But let's go back even further...Even as a kid I was interested in herbs and would often make herbal tea concoctions out of what I could find in the garden. Sometimes they were delicious and...well, sometimes not! \n
\n
Skip ahead 10 or so years and I was a very active teenager with netball multiple times a week. Add to that the stress of study and three very barky guard dogs who lived next door and I often had trouble sleeping. \n
\n
When this happened I would get up and spontaneously do some stretches on my floor. This involved lots of leg stretches and forward bending movements. After a bit of this I would peacefully fall asleep. Only much later did I realise that I was intuitively doing Yoga!! Forward bends are calming to our adrenals and nervous system so I was instinctively calming myself back to sleep! \n
\n
After the fun and the trials of high school there were two things I knew that I wanted to do...travel and do a massage course. So I did both! (New Zealand was stunning and i would love to go back for a family trip soon!) \n
\n
After my gap year I started an Arts degree at Flinders Uni studying English, Philosophy and Sociology...interesting, but really... where was that going to lead!! Right?!\n Whilst at Uni (realisitically studying Tavernology 101! ; ) ) I started my first real job at the vegetarian cafe on Rundle\n Street called Clearlight. Anyone remember this gem? I learned so so much about good food and how to cook there! \n
\n
And it was here that, at the tender age of 19, I was introduced to Ayurveda! \n
\n
At this time I had eczema on my hands and a weird blood disorder that erupted into chikenpox like itchy spots on my skin, then ulcerated and scarred as they healed. There are photos of my spots in the Flinders Medical Center as I was an enigma to them! \n
\n
Needless to say the cortisone cream I reluctantly used did nothing. Later I discovered that Ayurveda had a name for this type of disorder...Rakta Pitta meaning too much heat in the blood so it erupts out of the skin!! My body was trying to cool and cleanse itself. (Over the years I have helped it to do just this!) \n
\n
Luckily my employer suggested I see her Ayurvedic Doctor.I did and it changed my life! Everything this Doctor (the dear departed Professor Junius) said made so much sense to me. I knew that I had found my passion. \n
\n
I was however still a headstrong young woman who was only just learning about good food and loved to drink red wine! I was not ready to completely change my life. Nooo...that took time...years even! But, the seed was planted and starting to sprout. \n
\n
After a 6 month solo sojourn around Europe I came back home and embarked on my Ayurvedic studies. I was very blessed to have a Natural Medicine College that specialised in Ayurveda right here in my home town of Adelaide. Some things are meant to be!! \n
\n
My first teachers were Porfessor Junius and Dr. Krishna Kumar. I am forever grateful to them both for the wisdom they shared with me. I was in heaven drinking up all the information. It felt like a coming home to me. \n
\n
\n\n \n \n \n \n \n
\n \n \n \n \n \n \n
\"\"
\n
\n\n \n \n \n \n \n
\n \n \n \n \n \n \n
I also started practicing and fell in love with Yoga at this time. You could not get me off the mat! I would cycle across town to get to classes! \n
\n
After finishing my four years of study I was ready for more travel! \n
\n
Now India was calling! \n
\n
And it kept calling. Over the next 4 years I traveled to India three times: for travel, clinic time/more study and Yoga. \n
\n
You could say it took me a while to settle down! \n
\n

I, finally, started my business Living Ayurveda in 2000 because I wanted to help others find the understanding and health that I had found. I wanted do my small part in bringing more peace, joy and health to our world. I believe that as we consciously raise our own health and live in tune with the rhythms of nature we help bring balance and healing to our world.\n

\n

Fast forward 20 years and, like me, my business has grown and evolved. From my beginnings of Practice before kids; to bringing the richness of family life into what I share; to the unexpected (but obvious in hindsight!) depletion and early menopause at the age of forty two (that was such a powerful time and brought me so many valuable gifts), I have a passion for teaching others how to understand their body and connect with their inner wisdom.\n

My primary focus now is on supporting women in reclaiming their Feminine Vitality so that they can live with more joy, health and ease and share their love and gifts with the world!\n

I feel so blessed to be doing what I love!\n
\n
It fills my cup to run my retreats and workshops and work with my clients one on one. I love to see women regain their joie de vie and sleep soundly, digest with ease and nourish themselves more deeply, say yes to self-care and create hormonal balance and health in their lives!\n

\n

Thanks for being here! \n

Sometimes life is smooth, we are in the flow and there is ease.

\n

Other times there are unexpected curve balls, massive upheavals and life can be too full and full on.

\n

What holds us during these times? What helps us build acceptance, grace and ease?

\n

In times of great change and upheaval I find peace in Sadhana.

\n

Maya Tiwari, Author and Ayurvedic seeress, describes a Sadhana as \"a practice that is attuned to nature and has been refined through all time...Sadhanas\n stir our cognitive memory, garner the vibrations of the Universe and help us to meld with the Earth body....These wholesome practices refine our vibratory\n powers and enable us to strengthen the spirit. (Maya Tiwari, A Life of Balance).

\n

Sadhanas are the little things and rituals that we mindfully do each day that ground and nourish us, help us to tune in and create stillness and acceptance\n of all that is.

\n

Last year my key word was Ease.

\n

My focus was to create more ease in my life and support others in bringing this quality into theirs too.

\n

In the last 2 months we have moved house, moved the kids school and now I am about to move my business location too!

But I feel that through this time of great change I was still operating with a sense of ease. Yes there were full on days where stuff just had to get done. Some even on 44 degree days! But the underlying feeling was joy and ease. \n

For me, Sadhana is what creates this ease.

\n

The little things I do each day with mindful, loving attention.

\n

Here is what I do and maybe you will feel that one or more of these tips can be incorporated into your life to bring greater ease for you too.

\n

I rise most days just before dawn. I love the stillness of this time of day. I slip out of bed without waking Mr Veda or the kids. I scrape my tongue,\n (have a look here why I do this strange thing!),\n have a big drink of warm water with lemon, and then I go within.

\n

Ayurveda teaches that life energy, Prana, is at it's most still at this time of day. Considering that we feed what we focus on, giving my Prana, the\n life energy in my own body, loving attention at this time of day increases it potency. I connect with, revere and cultivate my Prana. I ground\n my energy by connecting with and feeling grateful for the Earth that I sit on and that nourishes me.

\n

Some days it is a short sit of five minutes or so before I am drawn to move. Other days it is a longer sit and most days I revisit connecting in throughout\n my day to reground especially between working with clients.

\n

Movement is another Sadhana. It can vary between Yoga or taking a walk/run depending on what feels right each day. Even ten minutes of yoga eases stiffness\n and wakes up my body! And yes, some days I just might sleep in too if that is what is needed.

\n

Self massage is an essential Sadhana for me! This practice brings such nourishment to my nervous system. Simply applying warm oil to the whole body\n builds strength and improves immunity and resilience. Some days I apply the oil whilst in the shower to save time and know that it still makes\n a difference!

\n

When life becomes full or full on simplify what you can, where you can.

\n

Another way to bring more ease is to simplify meals. When we are stressed our digestion does not work so well. Support your body through stressful\n times by making easy to digest meals.  I'll often make a range of easy and delicious soups and one pot meals that are grounding and nourishing.\n I'll often add fresh greens for that high prana,  alive and raw element!

\n

Practice gratitude. When we become stressed it is hard to see the good in life. We feel overwhelmed by all that we perceive has to happen. My Dad use\n to call this 'feeling compressed'. Weighed down!

\n

Keep a gratitude diary that you write in each night before bed. Or bring this Sadhana to your family dinner table and all share just one thing (or\n more!), that you were grateful for today. It can be as simple as the sunshine or a shared smile. There is always something to be grateful for and\n as we give this attention it grows and make the hard stuff feel a little lighter and easier!

\n

16/03/2020 ....Little addition.....(Gratitude and love is so important at this time as the world is bracing itself for the spread of COVID-19. I wrote\n this post a week before it was announced as a Pandemic and now, I am adding here how truly important a Sadhana practice is for staying connected\n to your own source of love and grounding to keep your immune system strong and keep oneself from spinning into fear and disconnection. (I'll be\n writing more soon about how to boost your immunity and slow down for your better health).

\n

When life becomes too full and chaotic Sadhana will provide respite and resilience.

\n

It is definitely easier to develop the habits of Sadhana when life is already going smoothly and well. Build them in little by little and create rhythm\n to your days. Then, they will be there for you when life serves a curve ball and you will be able to ride those tricky times with more ease and\n resilience.

\n

What is your favourite Sadhana practice? What is the little thing you do each day that keeps you feeling well, connected to your energy and spirit\n and bring more ease and joy into your life?

\n

If you don't yet have any that you can think of...try one of mine!

\n

With love,

\n

Jacq

I just wanted to tell you I haven’t had any hot flushes during the day for the last 3 and a bit weeks!

I’ve had the pleasure of working privately with Jacqueline for the past few months now, and really love her open hearted & passionate approach to Ayurveda as a holistic system to health & wellbeing. Her professionalism & in depth knowledge combined with a quirky sense of humour have given me confidence & greater understanding of some of the health & lifestyle challenges that I have been facing.

I have had two appointments with Jacqueline which I found to be a most positive, enlightening and reassuring experience and I am now much better than before I began seeing her.\nI have seen for myself how Ayurvedic medicine can have such a positive effect on human health and in this case mine. I thoroughly recommend her.

I’ve been going to Jacqueline for a few months now, and every time I go I feel better and better.

I really enjoyed the relaxed & friendly manner in which you presented the Ayurvedic principles, some of which I was familiar with, however you always learn something new! Your approach & easy to apply to modern life examples increased the clarity of the Ayurvedic approach for me. Your presentation was clear and informative with easy to apply practices. Look forward to learning more!

I wanted to let you know how grateful I feel for your passing on the wisdom of Ayurveda to us.

Thank you so much for a wonderful and informative afternoon.

Having read a number of books and attended some workshops on Ayurveda I felt as if I was only scratching the surface without any real in depth “knowing’ of the subject.

Within a few weeks of my initial consult with Jacqueline I moved from being an emotional, physical and mental exhausted wreck to genuinely beginning to reconnect with joy again, and therefore life.

Jacqueline is a rare gift of a practitioner.
